Also in the top 10 of the new Billboard 200, Demi lovato captures his eighth consecutive top 10 effort (his entirety of chart releases) with the arrival of Holy Fvck; Virgin becomes the first woman with a top 10 album in each of the last five decades as finally enough love debuts; Y Five Finger Death Punch picks up his eighth top 10 effort with the bow Future life.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the week’s most popular albums in the US based on multimetric consumption measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units include album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription-generated on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. A summer without you tie the Charm soundtrack for the most weeks at No. 1 in 2022. The latest record with the most weeks at No. 1 is Morgan Wallen‘s Dangerous: The Double Albumwhich posted 10 weeks, all consecutive, at the top of the chart in early 2021 (charts dated January 23 to March 27, 2021).
A summer without you debuted at no. 1 on the chart dated May 21, 2022, then fell away from the top spot for three weeks. It returned to No. 1 on June 18, and then fell away for two more weeks, returning to No. 1 for five consecutive weeks from July 9 to August 1. 6 date charts. It then dropped to No. 2 on August 13, back to No. 1 on August 20, back to No. 2 on August 27, and is now back up to No. 1 in the new ranking.
A summer without you is the first album with five separate visits to No. 1 since Adele twenty-one it had 10 separate stints at No. 1 in 2011-12, for a total of 24 weeks at the top of the chart. She debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated March 12, 2011 and posted her final week atop the chart on June 23, 2012.

Dangerous: The Double Album has now accumulated 84 non-consecutive weeks in the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Since the chart began publishing weekly in 1956, Dangerous ties Adele‘s twenty-one Y Bruce Springsteen‘s born in the USA for the second-most weeks in the top 10 among artist albums with 84 weeks each. Peter, Paul and Mary’s self-titled album has the most weeks in the top 10 among single acts, with 85 non-consecutive weeks in 1962-64. However, there are seven albums that have more weeks in the top 10 than Peter, Paul and Mary – and they’re all multi-artist soundtracks and cast recordings, led by the top 10 record holder of all time, the original cast recording of My beautiful lady, with 173 weeks in the top 10 between 1956-60.
