The father of billionaire businessman Elon Musk has claimed that he had an unplanned second child with his stepdaughter, a US tabloid has reported. Errol Musk, 76, also said that he felt the only reason to be on Earth is to reproduce.
the US Sol The newspaper said Errol said he had a son with his 35-year-old stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout, three years ago. Errol and Bezuidenhout had a baby girl named Elliot Rush, nicknamed Rushi, in 2018 and the duo had lived together for a while, he told the newspaper.
Errol Musk, an engineer turned businessman, was married to Jana’s mother, Heide, for nearly two decades and had two biological children with her, according to the report.
Errol said that while he has not verified the girl’s DNA, “it’s pretty obvious” that she is his daughter because she looks exactly like his two other daughters, Rose and Tosca.
“The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce,” he said in the interview, adding, “If I could have another child, I would. I can’t see any reason not to.”
But she added that while she missed the baby, it was also a challenge. “I mean, I’d rather have them here. But Jana came and she spent a few days here about six months ago. And the kids were starting to get on my nerves. So I miss them as soon as they’re gone,” he said.
She added that her other daughters were “shocked” by her relationship with her stepdaughter and found her creepy. “And they still don’t like it. They still feel a little creepy about it, because she’s her sister. Her half-sister,” she said in the interview.
Elon has yet to respond to the news. In the 2015 book Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX and the search for a fantastic futureauthor Ashlee Vance wrote that although Elon’s family “agreed that he [Errol] he is not a nice man,” they seemed determined not to speak ill of him.
“It would certainly be accurate to say that I didn’t have a good childhood,” Elon told the author. “It may sound good. He was not absent from good, but it was not a happy childhood. It was like misery. It’s good for making life miserable, that’s for sure. He can take any situation no matter how good it is and make it bad. He is not a happy man,” he said.
He added that he and his then-wife, Justine Wilson, had made a commitment not to let their children meet Errol.
In early July, Elon Musk, 51, revealed in a court document that he and Shivon Zilis, a 36-year-old senior executive at his brain chip startup Neuralink, had twins in 2021. In all, Musk has nine children: two with Canadian singer Grimesand five with his ex-wife, Canadian author Justine.
